Black Travel Movement is heading to Iceland
March 21-25, 2019
The wonders of nature and the beauty of winter intersect in a Nordic paradise called Iceland. There is more to see and do than you could ever imagine. Iceland is like no place you’ve ever been. Waterfalls, volcanic springs, the Northern Lights and so much more awaits your arrival. Journey with us and experience the wonders of Iceland.
Widely known as The Land of Fire and Ice, Iceland is home to some of the largest glaciers in Europe, and some of the world’s most active volcanoes. a mere twenty minute drive from Reykjavik center takes you out of the hubbub of city life and into the seclusion of Iceland’s spectacular landscapes, which inspire adventures from its shores to its mountain tops. But the landscape is not just for gaping at; Iceland’s rivers are perfect for rafting, fishing, diving and snorkeling; its mountains, volcanoes and glaciers are good for hiking, climbing, dog-sledding, and snowmobiling; its snowy hills for skiing and snowboarding; and its caves for exploring.
02. The Itinerary

In the evening, BTM will host a welcome dinner at Grillmarkadurin. After dinner, we will explore the nightlife in Reykjavik.
Breakfast at the hotel
Golden Circle Tour
Northern Lights Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a journey to Iceland’s Golden Circle. Located in the Þingvellir National Park, the Golden Circle tour features a stop at the Gullfoss waterfall, and the geysers Geysir and Strokkur. We will also stop at the Kerið volcanic crater, and visit the Hveragerði, Skálholt cathedral.
As day turns to dusk, the real show will begin. The Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights fill the nighttime Iceland skies. It is truly a sight to behold. We think of it as Mother Nature just showing off.
Free Time – Explore Iceland on your own
There are a vast array of tours and experiences at your disposal. It will undoubtedly be an EPIC day. Here are a few ideas for things to do in Iceland on your own:
Take a Game of Thrones Tour
Visit the Lava Caves

Blue Lagoon Tour
The final stop on our journey through Iceland is a stop at the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa. Named one of National Geographic’s 25 Wonders of the Word, the Blue Lagoon is a mineral-rich hot spring that will soothe your soul and carry away the cares of life, if only for a few hours.
